Systemic Serious Psoriasis

A 19 year-old patient suffered from psoriasis for more than 5 years. His parents took him to see a dermatological specialist for many years. Because of the critical illness of this patient, dermatologists prescribed antineoplastic including Methotrexate, Acitretin, Cyclosporine, Tumor Necrosis Factor (TNF) and Inhibitor Enbrel. The patient developed abnormal skin patches, became very weak, lost confidence in himself and was unable to concentrate in school. This put a mental strain on the patient and his family members. The patient even had the notion to commit suicide. His mother consulted a dermatologist, who informed her that currently there is no cure for psoriasis.

Despite his lack of confidence in further treatments, the patient accepted two treatments of cell therapy. His systemic psoriasis, skin lesions on his chest, abdomen, and back partially healed.

Thereafter, the patient continued cell therapy three more times. Two months after the completion of his cell therapy, the patient’s psoriasis symptoms was cured.

Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune disease that causes skin lesions. Two percent of the United States population which accounts for about 7.5 million suffer from psoriasis. In China, there are 25 million psoriasis cases. The cost of treating psoriasis was between 112 billion and 135 billion dollars in the United States in 2013.

The skin of psoriasis is initially characterized by an inflammatory red bloody rash, and gradually expanded to brown red patches. The surface of the skin is often covered with multiple layers of dry gray or silvery scales. The skin is characterized by hypertrophy, itching, or verrucous. Male patients who suffer from this disease will have three years of his life span shortened and females will have about two years shortened.

At the present, psoriasis is a disease that cannot be cured by specific medications. The above case shows that cell therapy can effectively cure psoriasis with minimal to no side effects. The committee is deeply grateful to the medical miracle for its new step and further progress.
