Diabetes Mellitus


Here are three patients: a 61 year-old woman, and two men over 60 years-old who all had abnormal high blood glucose and were taking hypoglycemic drugs daily for many years. Their blood glucose levels before meals ranged from 285mg to 340 mg. After cell therapy, their blood glucose levels before meals dropped to 118 mg, 112 mg, and 110 mg and they only needed to use half the dosage of hypoglycemic drugs. It became easier to control their diabetes, and these patients can enjoy fruit meals more frequently.


Diabetes Mellitus is a systemic disease, which invades various organs and systems of the human body, especially kidneys, eyes (retinopathy), coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, peripheral vascular disease and peripheral neuropathy. The sequelae of diabetes are multiple and fatal.


Diabetes Mellitus is a pandemic disease. In 2017, the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) states that 425 million adults were suffering from diabetes, nearly double the number of people affected a decade prior. This means one in eleven people suffers from diabetes. It is estimated that the number of diabetics in the world will be approximately 630 million by 2045, with very high medical expenses.


CHMSUN is delighted to see a potential method that can reduce the dosage of medication for diabetics. This method may possibly offer a better treatment and prevent sequelae of diabetes. It is expected that advancements in new methods and technologies can improve and effectively treat diabetic patients around the world.
